Effects of Harvesting Intensity on the Growth of Hydrilla verticillata and Water Quality

Royle as well water quality were studied in controlled experiments to provide a reference for managing submerged vegetation and purifying water. results showed that had significant effect recovery shoot H. height. harvested group recovered completely or mostly after two harvests, but time was significantly longer than control group. final biomasses groups (15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, 75% harvested) decreased 66.61%, 49.13%, 43.95%, 43.77%, 29.94% group, respectively. greater intensity, fewer winter buds. Harvesting reduced number branches. Repeated at medium low intensities during rapid effectively improved inhibited propagation phytoplankton. These show verticillata, best when considering quality.
